A Mother’s Directions

A Mother’s Directions

I love you!
God love’s you!
Listen to your Mother!
Stay by Mommy in the store..
Do not talk to strangers!
Stay by Mommy in the store!
Listen to your Mother!
This is a private place! No one touches!
We have no secrets!
No one touches!
Stay by mommy in the store!
Listen to your Mother.
We have no secrets..
When I call you, you come!
Look both ways when crossing the street!
Look both ways when crossing the street!
Don’t touch anything in the store.
Don’t touch anything in the store.
Show me and we will look together.
Listen to your Mother!
You do not take, what does not belong to you.
I love you! God loves you!
What would Jesus do?
God is not please.
LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER!
When the teacher talks, you listen.
When the plans change, you call me.
No sex! No drugs! No alcohol!
What happens when the plans change?
Right! You call me!
Listen to your mother!
No sex! No drugs! No alcohol!
When the teacher talks, you listen.
Fighting does not solve problems.
Stand up straight!
Look a man in the eye when he talks to you!
Stand up straight!
Look a man in the eye when he talks to you!
Say,  “Yes Sir!”  Say, “Yes Ma’am!”  Its a sign of respect.
Look a man in the eye when he talks to you!
Pull your pants up!
Pull up your pants!
Pull them Got damn pants up!
Your decisions are your destiny!
Your decisions are your destiny!
Listen to your Mother.
Your job is school, my job is work
College or Jail?
College or Jail?
A man that doesn’t work, doesn’t eat!
A man that doesn’t work, doesn’t eat!
Keep your head up!
Eat every meal, you cannot afford to loose weight..
Continue to read and keep your mind strong.
Do not talk about your case,
Inmates are not your friends.
Watch your back!
Your decisions are your Destiny!
Why didn’t you listen to your mother?

  1. Action words from a caring MOTHER who is serious and loves her children and wants the very best for them.. If only each mother had the same ideals for her child/children what a great world this would be. MOTHERS make the difference. Mom, you are the greatest. Love Ya!!!!!

  2. Hey Chinaz, it’s been a while! Nice tribute to mother! I wish I had listened to my mother more!!! Now I’m just grateful I had a caring mother because I’ve heard some horror stories. Thanks for sharing this!

  3. What an awesome responsibility, Motherhood.
    What a glorious title, Mother.
It doesn’t come with a set of instructions and individual specifications. We bear the nine months burden and then the birthing of a unique individual. What does he or she need? We try what others tell us to do. It may or may not work on this unique individual. We regroupe and try again. Some success, some not so successful.
What can we do? Remove as many obstacles as possible, teach them to rise everytime they slip and fall, learn from their mistakes, take responsibilityfor their actions, life is full of problems waiting to be solved, stay away from the haters, the only peace there is resides within you-seek it, know who you are and improve on it,. it is a lifetime process and pray that you have your Mother long enough, so that she can guide you in your journey.
We are” wonderfully and fearfully made.” Glory in it. Noone can do what we do—give birth to a child.
    Belated Happy Mother’s Day!

    • Thank you Ms. Erma! I sooo appreciate your comments. It is sad that we have no instruction. Yet many appear to fumble their way through with success! I do wish I had the privileged of still having my mother around.
